What are Freedom Groups?

Freedom groups at Connect Church are an in-depth look at “who we are” as Christ followers. We believe no matter where we are in our relationship with God, there is more freedom for us here on earth beyond salvation!

In our Freedom Groups, we look at our past and present to see if there are things holding us back from the future that God has prepared for us. You will learn tools in a practical way that will equip you to continue in an ongoing relationship with God.

Freedom Groups are different from other connect Groups in that each week’s material builds upon the last. Attendance each week is vital for you to fully work through the material in preparation for the culminating event of the whole semester, Freedom Experience.

In group form you will learn, laugh, and grow together! There is privacy and confidentiality and you will find a safe place to be real and walk with others on their journey as well.

Winter 2026 Semester

Freedom is a 10-week group with an experiential weekend built in for healing and to find your freedom in Christ.

Important dates and details:

Materials fee: $45 – due at Freedom Orientation
Freedom Orientation: Sunday, January 25, immediately following 4th service
Freedom Groups: Weekly on Sundays from 3:30-5:30 PM (February 1 – March 29)
Freedom Experience weekend: Friday evening, March 27 and Saturday, March 28
